I work with Dr. Paul Staten on climate variability and clouds using satellite data from legacy instruments such as AVHRR and HIRS. We use a unique method to combine AVHRR cloud type-spcified radiances and HIRS sounding profiles together to create a spectrally and spatially rich dataset.
