Undergraduate Programs

The Department of Earth and Atmospheric Sciences provides training for those who want to become professional Earth and Atmospheric scientists and seek careers in university or college teaching, in industry, in research laboratories, and in federal and state agencies; for those who wish to teach Earth and atmospheric science at the secondary school level; and for those who seek a general knowledge of Earth and atmospheric science and their relationship to other sciences.

The three undergraduate degrees offered are:
Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Earth and Atmospheric Sciences
Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Earth Sciences.
Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Atmospheric Sciences.
