Walther's Outlaws is a group of IU faculty, staff, and students. Besides working and studying, they also sing and play instruments, and a few years ago they formed a band and have been performing at EAS informal gatherings.
The band members/artists are from EAS and other IU departments. The music is a blend of country, rock, folk, and old gospel.

- Melissa Humbarger, bass. EAS Undergraduate Student.
- Kaj Johnson, guitar. Professor and Interim Chair, EAS. Geophysicist.
- Stuart Kenderes, banjo. Lecturer and Volcanologist, IU Indianapolis.
- Andrea Stevens Goddard, mandolin. Assistant Professor, Thermochronology.
