I really enjoyed the community and support! The EAS department feels very much like a family between the undergraduates, graduate students, and the faculty, as well. Any questions I had or if I just needed someone to talk to, there was always a person in the EAS department I could reach out to and chat with, and feel supported. I am currently a 2nd year PhD student at Brown University, using stable isotope geochemistry to learn more about Earth's mantle and the chemical evolution of the Earth.
