Minor in Climate Change
This program is a joint minor offered between Geography and Earth and Atmospheric Sciences. The collection of courses from the two departments offers an innovative approach to a minor, providing students with a broad spectrum of climate change science faculty expertise and course experiences.
Students with a Climate Change Science minor will become ‘local’ experts in climate and climate change–providing more detailed background on the processes and impacts of climate change and opening the door to advanced study and career opportunities in this arena. They will be able to represent knowledge about climate change from a cognizant stance, to have well-informed conversations about it, educate others, and incorporate their understanding of climate change science into their career.
