Course Description

As atmospheric concentrations of carbon dioxide continue to rise, there is an increasing urgency to understand Earth's natural carbon cycle. This course covers how carbon moves within and amongst stores in the continents, oceans, and atmosphere. We will learn about carbon transfers in geomorphic and soil processes, as well as past carbon cycle perturbations and projections for the future.
